Eyes on the iron fence

Author: Daciaano Scalpa
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2002-04-01
Features: This book narrates the story of a young man from the author's hometown, Venice, who rescues a female university student who has fallen into the water and begins to pursue her. In order to make a living, both young people are forced to do some unseemly jobs and things. Thus, a somewhat humorous and rather peculiar love story is born. However, Scalpa has no intention of weaving a complete plot to tie the novel together or paying much attention to shaping the characters' personalities. Instead, he deliberately adopts a peculiar narrative discourse to create a unique atmosphere of discourse.
