The second part presents several case studies that emerged during the experimental phase of the new curriculum, organized into corresponding chapters based on subject characteristics. These cases reflect the various changes brought about by the new curriculum implementation and showcase teachers' teaching practices, as well as the challenges and dilemmas they encountered during the reform. Each case is rooted in teaching practice, but its focus extends beyond the classroom, broadly covering aspects such as educational philosophy, teacher-student relationships, teaching and learning methods, teacher professional development, textbook usage, and curriculum resource development.
This series was compiled by collecting case studies from experimental zones through the "Professional Support Working Group" of the Ministry of Education's Basic Education Curriculum Reform and the subject-specific curriculum standards groups. The standards teams reviewed and edited the cases into this book, making it both instructive and enlightening. It serves as a primary reference for frontline teachers in new curriculum training, daily teaching, and continuous education, as well as an important resource for educational researchers in various fields.
