Features: Mathematics is a foundational subject for intellectual development. Students should learn mathematics well from primary school, master solid basic knowledge, and cultivate their practical and innovative thinking. In recent years, with the development of Mathematical Olympiad and Primary School Mathematical Application and Exploration Ability Competition, students' enthusiasm for learning mathematics has reached an unprecedented high, and their interest in learning has become increasingly strong. Especially, the "Math Olympiad Daily Practice" series published by our press has been favored by many parents and students. To better meet students' learning needs, further systematic training, and improve their competition level, we have engaged teachers with years of experience in first-line teaching of Math Olympiad and outstanding achievements to compile the "Optimized Mathematics Olympiad Tutorial." This textbook is primarily focused on explanations with supplementary exercises, aiming to further expand and extend corresponding knowledge points through analysis, comments, and exercises, thereby enhancing students' ability to analyze, understand, and solve practical problems, as well as promoting the development of their creative thinking. As a sister series to "Math Olympiad Daily Practice," this textbook has the following features:
- Synchronous with the textbook. According to the new curriculum standards and the teaching content of corresponding textbooks, one book is provided for each grade. While students master the basic knowledge in class, they can also learn some Math Olympiad, deepening and improving their foundational knowledge.
- Convenient for self-study. Each book includes 25 thematic units, with examples designed to be exemplary, novel, and unique. In-class exercises facilitate self-study and practice, and the exercises come with detailed solutions to help improve students' problem-solving skills and mathematical thinking.
This textbook is based on consolidating students' foundational knowledge and focuses on cultivating their ability to flexibly apply knowledge. With thinking training as the core, it features simple content, lively, and diverse forms, integrating mathematical ideas under the new curriculum philosophy.
