Features: Mathematics is an important foundational subject. To build a strong foundation in mathematics, it should be emphasized from primary school. The mathematics knowledge in primary school may seem diverse, but from the perspective of quality-oriented education, the focus should be on cultivating students' innovative awareness and practical abilities. In recent years, with the comprehensive implementation of quality-oriented education in primary schools, teachers, students, and parents have increasingly recognized the importance of exposing students with a learning interest and aptitude in mathematics to some aspects of olympic mathematics. This book addresses the common issues of many previous olympic mathematics books, such as excessive descriptions and overly difficult problems that fail to engage students. During the writing process, it specifically incorporates several features:
[In sync with the textbook] Building on and deepening the mastery of the foundational knowledge learned.
[Convenient for self-study] Detailed solutions and thought processes are provided for examples to help students grasp the methods.
[Layered structure] Problems are arranged from easy to difficult, with clear levels and connections to real-life applications.
[Thought-provoking] Encourages critical thinking and multiple solutions, with hints provided in the answers.
[Open-ended] Some problems have open conditions, solutions, or results, allowing students to fully unleash their imagination and creativity.
[Engaging] Lower-grade problems emphasize observation, hands-on drawing and measuring, with an animated style.
To avoid overburdening students, this book arranges three days of self-study and practice for each lesson. On the first day, students focus on "Topic Analysis" and "Fundamental Summaries," completing two imitation training problems; on the second day, they solve two consolidation training problems; and on the third day, they tackle two expansion and improvement problems. This ensures daily learning and practice.
