Features: This textbook is divided into 16 lessons, each unit including the following content:
1. Listening judgment exercises. The main purpose of this section is to train and test students' ability to correctly understand and grasp prepared information in Japanese listening materials and make accurate judgments according to requirements through practical operations. Based on the specific form of the recording materials, this section is divided into the following three types: (1) Listen to a conversation and answer questions. (2) Listen to a short passage and answer questions. (3) Listen to a recording of an article and fill in the blanks.
2. Comprehension and summarization exercises. After listening to an article, students are required to summarize the core content of the article in Chinese. This section focuses on training and testing students' comprehensive ability to summarize, organize, and express the main content of Japanese listening materials in Chinese within the specified time after correctly understanding the overall content.
3. Chinese translation exercises for common new words and phrases. This section focuses on training and testing students' basic skills in Chinese-to-Japanese translation and helps them understand the Japanese translations of common Chinese vocabulary used to express new things.
4. Full text of the recording materials. To facilitate students in checking and confirming the content of each part of the listening exercises at any time, the full text of the recording materials is attached at the end of each unit. Due to the characteristics of these recording materials—short, concise, rich in knowledge, and up-to-date—they can also be used for reading exercises in addition to listening exercises, thereby deepening the understanding of basic Japanese society.
5. At the end of each unit, a "Learning Focus" section is provided. This section mainly annotates difficult words that appear in the exercises and includes the correct answers or reference answers for each part of the exercises, providing students with a standard for self-assessing their comprehensive interpreting ability. Additionally, in the "Learning Focus" of the listening judgment exercises, necessary hints are provided for key sentences when making judgment choices.
