Features: This textbook has undergone substantial additions, deletions, and revisions in its content. 1. The Immunology Basics section has significantly increased the theoretical content of fundamental immunology, including the molecular mechanisms of specific antigen recognition, the essence of MHC biology, and the biological roles of various immune molecules. It also adds clinical immunology content such as autoimmune diseases and immune deficiencies. Particularly in the application of immunology, many new methods for immunotherapy and prevention are introduced, including the application of genetic engineering and cellular engineering. With a solid foundation in theory, students can apply their knowledge freely in clinical practice. At the same time, the textbook highlights the relationship between Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), traditional Chinese herbal medicine, and immunology, as well as the research approaches and methods, with a dedicated chapter.
2. The teaching focus of pathobiology is adjusted, with appropriate additions and deletions of content in combination with clinical practice.
3. Based on the current global and domestic prevalence of infectious and epidemic diseases, the disease spectrum is adjusted, with additions and deletions of content accordingly.
4. The fourth part, Experimental Guidelines, includes experimental rules, immunology experiments, medical microbiology experiments, medical parasitology experiments, and comprehensive experiments.
5. All figures in the textbook are unified and standardized, designed independently.
6. The appendix at the end of the book provides an English-Chinese glossary of important terms for reference by teachers and students.
