Features: Basic qualities and abilities necessary for educational and teaching work, understanding the laws of education, and possessing good professional ethics. The "Regulations on Teacher Qualification" explicitly state that educational administrative departments or commissioned higher education institutions may require applicants with non-teacher education majors to complete courses in pedagogy and psychology. The Ministry of Education's "Opinions on Several Issues Concerning the First Recognition of Teacher Qualification", "The requirements for non-teacher education graduates to complete pedagogy, psychology, and other courses for teacher qualification recognition shall be formulated by provincial-level educational administrative departments." In accordance with the above requirements, to guide local training and examinations in pedagogy and psychology, and to help non-teacher education graduates seeking teacher qualification recognition learn pedagogy and psychology courses, the Ministry of Education Personnel Department, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education Examination Center, organized experts to study and formulate the "Pedagogy Examination Syllabus" and "Educational Psychology Examination Syllabus," totaling 6 volumes, divided into three levels: primary school, secondary school, and higher education. The main contributors to the "Examination Syllabus" include pedagogy and psychology experts and professors from several renowned domestic teacher education institutions such as Beijing Normal University and East China Normal University. They have long been engaged in research in educational science and psychological science, with rich experience in educational and teaching work. This set of "Examination Syllabus" is well-structured, with appropriately selected content, clear and accurate explanations of concepts, strong logicality and scientific rigor. The examination objectives and content formulated are in line with the characteristics and ability requirements of teachers at different levels in educational and teaching work, reflecting the new developments in the disciplines of pedagogy and psychology and demonstrating a high academic level. The publication of this set of teaching materials will facilitate the smooth and healthy implementation of the teacher qualification system.
