Robert Eckstein is passionate about anything related to computers. Most of Robert’s friends consider him a true computer geek. At O’Reilly, Robert is primarily responsible for editing books on Java, and in his spare time, he provides online coverage for major conferences. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and communication from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. Robert has worked at USAA Insurance and Motorola’s cellular software division. He currently lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife Michelle and their one-year-old pet dog Ginger.
