Features: This book was completed in 1988 and published in 1989, over a decade ago. With the advancement of the times and the rapid progress of science and technology, mathematics and mathematical education have also undergone many changes. "Arithmetic" is a branch of mathematics, the most fundamental and elementary part of it, and it is constantly being updated. Whether in terms of the themes of problems or the units of measurement used, they have all been updated compared to a decade ago. To make this reference book more contemporary and closer to the primary school mathematics education in China's nine-year compulsory education, it has been comprehensively revised, reduced, and supplemented. The entries and problems in this book are organized and arranged according to the chapters of the subject knowledge system. A classified table of contents is provided before the main text, and an entry index arranged by stroke classification is appended after the main text for reference. The solutions to the problems in this book follow the principle of one problem, one solution. For some problems that have other good solutions, multiple solutions are provided, listed separately. Generally, the arithmetic solution is introduced first, followed by an appropriate introduction to the equation solution. The conclusions of the problems included in this book are recorded, and they are usually not repeated when applied to other problems.
