China held the fifth national environmental protection conference, proposing to strengthen environmental pollution prevention and ecological protection and implement the "Fifteen-Year Plan for Environmental Protection" to achieve sustainable development. The fourth edition of the "Textbook of Environmental Protection Law" has been revised primarily based on the aforementioned laws, regulations, and recent advancements in international environmental protection law. It particularly emphasizes the integration of theory with practice and strengthens the content on legal liability. This textbook can be used as a compulsory course for universities and colleges, an elective course for related disciplines, a training manual for environmental protection supervision and management departments, and a reference for environmental protection management departments and enterprises.
