The judicial exam is largely about case studies. Beyond the basic question types in Paper 4, which are strictly case questions, the majority of single-choice, multiple-choice, and uncertain-choice questions in the other three papers also fall under the category of case questions. Currently, almost all study materials are either purely theoretical or interspersed with a few illustrative cases. The lack of appropriate and abundant case studies in theoretical explanations can easily make the material feel, hindering candidates' ability to improve their practical skills.
In light of this, we collaborated with Li Shichun of China Legal Publishing House to develop the National Judicial Exam Case Study Series. The series consists of four volumes: Civil and Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Procedural Law, and Economic, Administrative, and International Law. Organized by chapters of the national judicial exam syllabus, the series systematically summarizes frequently tested key points, analyzes them through case studies, and provides logical problem-solving frameworks in the form of charts to achieve the effect of learning by analogy. Additionally, it elaborates on key issues to be noted for each key point.
Thus, the features of this series are:
1. Using specific cases to explain specific key points;
2. Employing detailed analysis to clarify specific cases;
3. Expanding the knowledge space beyond the analysis through relevant knowledge;
4. Integrating specific knowledge blocks into an organic and comprehensive judicial exam knowledge system.
The authors of this series are all highly experienced PhDs in law from Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, and Peking University, who have conducted long-term research on the judicial exam and have participated in its tutoring for many years or multiple times. Their deep expertise in their respective fields ensures the professionalism and precision of the series, while their extensive involvement in exam tutoring guarantees its relevance to the exam.
