Features: Huanggang materials are everywhere, but Huanggang High School is the only one! Authenticated by Huanggang High School, this is the first public release of its internal workbook! Warm-up before class, in-class exercises; homework after class, middle school exams in real-time! Founded in 1904, Huanggang High School in Hubei Province was a key high school in Hubei since 1953 and was awarded the title of "Advanced Unit in the National Education System" in 1986. In 2002, it was recognized as an "Advanced Unit in National Spiritual Civilization Construction."
Huanggang High School upholds the educational philosophy of "people-centered, virtue-based education" and has developed a distinctive approach to nurturing talent that emphasizes "comprehensive development with special strengths." It has pioneered a teaching style characterized by "seeking truth, refinement, originality, and innovation." Its outstanding performance in college entrance exams and competitions is the inevitable result of its long-term implementation of quality education, though it is only one aspect of its abundant teaching achievements.
When people ask, "What magic formula does Huanggang High School use to educate students? How does it turn sand into a tower? How does it transform ordinary into extraordinary?" These are questions I often hear. To think that Huanggang High School merely follows the of college entrance exams and passively prepares for exams is incorrect. Huanggang High School does not advocate rote memorization or passive problem-solving. If it has any exceptional qualities, it lies in its ability to fully grasp the intent of test setters and understand the underlying principles, positioning itself as a leader rather than a blind follower.
Huanggang High School does not oppose teachers immersing themselves in a sea of problems but strongly encourages students to break free from it. It rejects mechanical, simple, repetitive, and tedious tasks for students but insists on assigning necessary ones. We advocate assigning flexible and widely applicable problems, allowing students to enrich their knowledge, develop skills, and enhance their qualities through problem-solving.
If there is any other success Huanggang High School has achieved, it is that while cultivating and shaping a large number of outstanding students, it has also forged a strong team of teachers who are renowned in Hubei Province. These teachers possess deep scientific and cultural literacy, innovative educational concepts, unique teaching styles, artistic flair, and remarkable teaching achievements.
To showcase the talents of Huanggang High School's teachers and share their teaching results, we have organized and carefully planned the writing of three series: Huanggang High School Workbook, Huanggang High School Exam Papers, and Huanggang High School 2006 College Entrance Exam Training Questions (First and Second Rounds).
The Huanggang High School Workbook series is based on the Teaching Syllabus and Exam Syllabus, highlighting the role of "homework" in helping students develop learning, problem-solving, and exam skills. It reflects the inevitable connection between Huanggang High School students' exceptional performance in exams and their rigorous daily practice.
This series features a carefully designed structure with four main sections: "Warm-up Before Class," "In-Class Exercises," "Homework After Class," and "Middle (Senior) High School Exam Practice," providing intensive training to improve students' abilities. It has the following characteristics:
1. Appropriate Exercise Placement: The exercises are arranged to reinforce and progressively enhance the key points, types of questions, and methods associated with each topic. The series aims to elevate students' problem-solving skills through progressive, ability-based, open-ended, applied, and comprehensive exercises.
2. Moderate Difficulty Gradient: The ratio of basic, intermediate, and difficult questions is 6:3:1, making it suitable for the majority of secondary schools. Most questions are labeled with A, B, or C to indicate their difficulty level, ensuring clarity and appropriateness.
3. Detailed Solution Hints: The answers at the back of the book are well-balanced, with more detailed solutions provided for difficult questions. Notably, the insightful hints often play a pivotal role in guiding students.
This series emphasizes the originality and quality of the exercises, with rigorous review and proofreading to strive to become a standout in the educational materials market.
