Features: Huanggang resources are everywhere, but Huanggang High School is the only one! Authorized by Huanggang High School, this is the first public publication of its internal workbook! Warm-up before class, homework during class; homework after class, online exam prep for the Zhongkao! Founded in 1904, Huanggang High School in Hubei Province was designated as a key high school in Hubei in 1953 and awarded the title of "Advanced Unit in the National Education System" in 1986. In 2002, it was recognized as an "Advanced Unit in National Spiritual Civilization Construction."
Huanggang High School upholds the educational philosophy of "putting people first and establishing the school with virtue," forming the distinctive feature of "comprehensive development with special talents" and exploring a teaching style of "seeking truth, refinement, novelty, and innovation." Her outstanding performance in college entrance exams and competitions is the inevitable result of her long-term implementation of quality education, and only a part of her abundant teaching achievements.
When people ask, "What magic formula does Huanggang High School use to educate students? What power does it have to turn sand into a tower? What skill does it possess to turn stone into gold?" This is a question I often hear. To think that Huanggang High School merely follows the of college entrance exams and passively prepares for exams is incorrect. Huanggang High School does not advocate rote memorization or passive problem-solving. If it has any exceptional qualities, it lies in its ability to fully understand the intentions of test setters, grasp their underlying principles, and become a leader rather than a blind follower.
Huanggang High School does not oppose teachers immersing themselves in a sea of problems but strongly advocates that students break free from it. It opposes students doing mechanical, simple, repetitive, and tedious exercises but requires them to complete necessary ones. We encourage students to tackle flexible, diverse, and widely applicable problems, allowing them to enrich their knowledge, develop skills, and enhance their qualities through the process of solving them.
If there is anything else that makes Huanggang High School successful, it is that while cultivating and shaping a large number of outstanding students, it has also forged its teaching team, creating renowned master teachers in Hubei Province. These teachers possess deep scientific and cultural literacy, innovative educational concepts, unique teaching styles, artistic skills, and outstanding teaching achievements.
To showcase the talents of Huanggang High School teachers and share their teaching results, we have organized and carefully planned the writing of three series: "Huanggang High School Workbook," "Huanggang High School Exam Papers," and "Huanggang High School 2006 College Entrance Exam First and Second Round Training Questions."
The "Huanggang High School Workbook" series is based on the "Teaching Syllabus" and "Exam Syllabus," highlighting the role of "homework" in helping students develop learning, problem-solving, and exam-taking abilities. It reflects the inevitable connection between Huanggang High School students' brilliant performance in various exams and their rigorous daily practice.
This series features a carefully designed format, emphasizing reinforcement and skill improvement through four key sections: "Warm-up Before Class," "Homework During Class," "Homework After Class," and "Zhongkao/Gaozhong Exam Prep Online." It also has the following characteristics:
1. Appropriate Exercise Placement: The exercises are arranged to reinforce and gradually improve the key points, types of questions, and methods associated with each topic. The series aims to elevate students' problem-solving skills through progressive, ability-based, open-ended, applied, and comprehensive exercises.
2. Moderate Difficulty Gradient: The ratio of basic, intermediate, and difficult questions is 6:3:1, suitable for the use of most middle schools. Most questions are labeled with A, B, or C for difficulty levels, ensuring clarity and appropriateness.
3. Detailed Solution Hints: The answers at the back of the book are well-balanced, with detailed solutions provided for difficult questions. It is worth mentioning that the insightful hints often play a pivotal role in guiding students.
This series emphasizes the originality and quality of the exercises, with rigorous review and proofreading to strive to become a unique gem in the educational supplement market.
