Celebrity Face-to-Face - Volume 1

Features: In 2000, my greatest wish was to publish a book compiling biographies of famous figures. I enjoy doing things to the best of my ability, and many of the subjects I interviewed were constantly cut out through careful selection, with my attention turning to emerging newcomers. My daily work kept me running around, and my time was spent idly amidst busyness. Writing was done during my free time and weekends. For nearly a year, I gave up most of my entertainment and declined all social engagements, focusing solely and intently in my own cozy "" (a small, humble home), writing character by character about the figures I was interested in. From planning, topic selection, drafting interview questions, conducting field interviews to writing, printing, and proofreading, I worked hard, busy, yet happy, truly finding joy in the process. I dressed casually in home clothes, slippers in hand, typing day and night under the warm glow of a desk lamp and amidst the soothing music, regardless of whether it was morning or evening. I wrote stack after stack of manuscripts, using up one ink pen after another. This series mainly tells stories about famous people and their face-to-face conversations.
