Features: To meet the teaching requirements of common undergraduate programs in economics, finance, accounting, management, finance, education, and other fields, we have compiled this textbook, "Advanced Mathematics." The book is divided into two volumes. The first volume covers calculus of single-variable functions, while the second volume includes spatial analytical geometry, calculus of multivariable functions, series, ordinary differential equations, and difference equations. Each section is accompanied by exercises, and each chapter ends with a comprehensive exercise set. The answers to the exercises are provided at the end of the book. To cater to the needs of students preparing for postgraduate entrance exams, selected exam questions are included for each chapter. To enhance practicality, the book emphasizes the application of advanced mathematics in economics. Considering that students in economics and management fields generally only take the "Advanced Mathematics III" or "Advanced Mathematics IV" exam when applying for postgraduate studies, some content in advanced mathematics is only briefly mentioned without rigorous mathematical proofs, while some content is completely omitted, such as Fourier series, triple integrals, line integrals, and surface integrals. However, some new content has been added, such as difference equations. Additionally, the examples and exercises are carefully selected to align with the professional characteristics of the programs.
