Children, you don’t need to cry, and you don’t need to be afraid, because during your growth, parents are not always by your side every night. You must learn to walk on your own, because when an eagle grows up, it must fly alone toward the blue sky. Extend your little hand, touch the wings of the story, and you can fly. On nights without adults, you are the master of the story. Stories can move a young heart; stories can spark all the interests of elementary school students; stories can also move them to tears. Student life is a time that needs stories, especially for elementary school students. Beautiful stories, composed of different times, things, experiences, and outcomes, like a gentle breeze passing by, unintentionally touching children’s hearts, turning wisdom and truth into little spirits in the blink of an eye. Perhaps their expressions while reading—dancing, crying, or frowning—will be more genuine and effective than facing parents or teachers who preach lessons like scriptures. Based on this creative concept, we organized several professionals who have long been engaged in psychological research and counseling for primary and secondary school students. We selected 100 short stories as teaching materials, processed and organized them, and finally presented them to primary school students in simple and easy-to-understand language. We hope they can serve as a delicious and fresh snack, adding a fresh touch and a sense of beauty to their extracurricular reading life, and unconsciously lighting a lamp of the heart for them. The stories in the book keep pace with today’s society, not limited to ancient fairy tales and legends, but also include vivid anecdotes of contemporary celebrities and life stories that happen around us. At the same time, these stories are not beyond children’s understanding and cognitive abilities. Don’t let children suffer from poor intellectual development because they lack stories. Let the elementary school students read them slowly, and we believe they will surely gain rich nutrition from them.
