The entire "Mining Handbook" consists of forty-one chapters plus an appendix, published in seven volumes, with a total length of approximately 6 million words. This volume includes General Principles; Geology and Mineral Deposits; Mine Geology; Mine Surveying; and Overall Ground Layout of Mines.
