The format of each lesson in the textbook is: cultural background introduction, text, vocabulary, notes, exercises, reading passages, and newspaper/magazine knowledge. The exercises emphasize relevance and effectiveness, using formats such as true-or-false questions, multiple-choice answers, and open-ended questions to assess students' reading comprehension and reinforce their learning.
