Features: "Calculus Learning Guide and Tutorial" is one of the reference books in the series of engineering mathematics written by the National Engineering Mathematics Teaching Base of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. This book is based on the "Synchronous Learning Guide for Calculus" textbook of our university and follows the outline of the postgraduate entrance examination for engineering majors, drawing reference from excellent postgraduate entrance examination review materials from key universities in recent years. The main features of this book are: adhering to the spirit of deepening the reform of the curriculum system and teaching content in the 21st century, focusing on cultivating students' problem-solving abilities; prioritizing education, students, and quality; emphasizing the overall optimization of content and system; providing appropriate "windows" and "interfaces" for modern mathematics; highlighting mathematical thinking and methods while appropriately de-emphasizing operational techniques; fostering students' awareness and ability to use mathematical knowledge to solve practical problems. The book consists of eight chapters, each divided into seven parts: basic requirements, basic content, concept analysis, typical examples, thinking and practice, unit test questions, and answers and hints. At the end of each chapter, there is an introduction to foreign and Chinese mathematicians who have made significant contributions to the development of calculus. The appendix includes the final examination papers and reference answers for "Calculus" from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in the last three years, as well as three sets of mathematical competition papers and reference answers. This book is primarily intended for reference by candidates for postgraduate studies, undergraduate students in ordinary universities, adult education, higher education self-study, and other types of students studying advanced mathematics.
