Features: This book is a favorite among children. The carefully selected characters include: Henry-J. Waterlouse, the factory boss resembling a crab; Cynthia, the receptionist with a snake head who loves pranks and tricks; and Randall-Boggs, the chameleon-like monster who enjoys sarcastic and teasing remarks. Randall plans to replace Sulley as the top scaremonger at Monster, Inc. An unexpected visitor from the human world, a little girl named Bub, turns Monster, Inc. upside down.
"Monster, Inc." is the largest scare factory in the monster world, and children are the most afraid of James-P. Sullivan, a giant monster covered in blue fur, with huge purple spots and antennae. His friends call him Sulley. Sulley's scare assistant, also his best friend and roommate, Mike Wazowski, is a light green one-eyed monster who is competitive and has a strong personality.
Scaring children isn't as simple as it sounds. Monsters believe children are toxic, and direct contact with them would be disastrous.
"Monster, Inc." is actually an energy plant. Inside the massive, the most advanced assembly lines are in operation. Tens of thousands of closet doors descend one after another to the ground, and various monsters push through them, one by one. The children in the beds scream in terror, and the decibel work busily, sending truck after truck of decibel cans out of the factory.
