Features: The original research scope of the Engineering Geology Laboratory included geology and subgrade. To highlight the focus, the collection excludes papers on subgrade, with a primary emphasis on tunnel engineering geology and geophysical wave detection technology. These scattered papers are compiled into a systematic monograph titled "Tunnel Engineering Geology and Geophysical Wave Detection Technology." The book consists of three parts:
Part 1: Overview, reviewing the development history of the Engineering Geology Laboratory, issues and research progress in railway tunnel engineering geology and rock mechanics, as well as the research and application progress of geophysical wave detection technology.
Part 2: Special Studies on Tunnel Engineering Geology, including research on rock mass classification, the application of rigid machines, tunnel environmental geology, karst geological hazards, geological advance prediction and forecasting, and a special study on the geological geotechnical issues of the Dayao Tunnel.
Part 3: Geophysical Wave Detection Technology, covering the development of hardware and software, as well as the application of geophysical wave detection technology in tunnels, subgrades, bridge foundations, bridges, and ancient cultural relics. The book is divided into three parts: Overview, Tunnel Engineering Geology, Geophysical Wave Detection Technology, and its Applications.
