Features: The purpose of Difference remains in Issue 2 to deeply engage with cutting-edge issues in contemporary international academia. Its cutting-edge nature is not market-driven. If it is recognized by many readers, it is because of the novelty, originality, and depth of its ideas, thus its focus lies in exploring and expanding the domain of intellectual issues. If one insists on using the term "market-driven," the editors would rather interpret it as a synonym for "socially relevant." It is the concern of intellectual academia with contemporary social issues. Derrida became a philosophical master influential across many disciplines in the latter half of the 20th century not because he consciously catered to market demands, but because his ideas are deeply relevant to contemporary society. Vulgarity is not socially relevant, whether in affirmative or feigned negative forms.
