Features: A devout believer in God—Leonardo Vettriano, an outstanding scientist at CERN, devoted his entire life to proving the existence of God through scientific means. Together with his adopted daughter, the mysterious and enchanting scientist Vittoria Vettriano, they conducted highly confidential experiments in the laboratory and successfully created an extremely powerful energy—"antimatter." Before this major discovery was made public, Leonardo was brutally murdered in the laboratory, with one eye torn out by the killer, and a mysterious symbol—"Illuminati"—imprinted on his chest. Even more astonishingly, the underground antimatter vanished without a trace. Robert Langdon, a symbologist from Harvard University, was invited by the head of CERN to investigate this mysterious symbol. On the very day he arrived, the missing antimatter was discovered somewhere underground in Vatican City. Once separated from the laboratory, the antimatter would explode on its own after twenty-four hours. This was also the day of the Catholic Pope's election. Catholic leaders from around the world gathered in Vatican City. The underground antimatter was like a time bomb, and if it couldn't be found in time, the entire Vatican City would be reduced to ashes in an instant. The situation was urgent. Langdon and Vittoria embarked on an adventurous journey to Vatican City together.
