Title: "Practice Books for Math"
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2005-06-01
Features: This series of books was published in line with the spirit of quality education for primary and secondary school students as instructed by the Ministry of Education of China, and is designed to complement the new edition of the nine-year compulsory education six-year primary school textbooks in Beijing (approved by the National Textbook Review Committee of China in 2002). To help students strengthen their foundational knowledge and basic skills, facilitate parents in providing effective guidance for their children's studies, and assist teachers in aligning their teaching plans and progress with actual classroom practices, we have specially invited experienced teachers who have participated in the writing of Beijing's textbooks, possess years of teaching and research experience, have in-depth understanding of primary school teaching methods, and are well-versed in the current educational reform spirit to meticulously compile this series of practice books.
This series consists of 24 books, with each academic year divided into an upper and a lower volume. The books feature the following characteristics:
1. They are compatible with the new edition of the nine-year compulsory education six-year primary school textbooks in Beijing, as well as the newly compiled parent guidance series Practice Books for Chinese and Practice Books for Math published by our company. Through these resources, students can receive multi-angle, comprehensive, time-efficient, and effective reinforcement training.
2. Based on the timeless teaching principle of "reviewing the old to learn the new and progressing step by step," the books emphasize the training of foundational knowledge and basic skills, focusing on key and difficult points while providing hints and guidance. The answer key includes detailed explanations and solutions for typical problems.
3. They strive to cultivate students' analytical and thinking abilities, aiming for one problem to serve multiple purposes, broaden their perspectives, and enhance their comprehensive application of foundational knowledge.
4. The practice methods are flexible and diverse, with exercises provided for each lesson in every book. The exercises are categorized into basic, comprehensive, extension, and advanced questions, progressing from simple to complex. Each unit includes a self-assessment test, and the book also features a final comprehensive self-assessment test with answers to some of the exercises.
Our goal is to enable students to review, consolidate, and comprehensively apply their learned knowledge of Chinese and math through various forms of practice. By doing so, they can initially grasp the general principles of using language and mathematics, lay a solid foundation for reading, writing, and mathematical calculation skills, and significantly improve their academic performance.
