Features: The Chinese nation has a history of thousands of years of civilization, creating a splendid ancient culture and leaving behind rich spiritual treasures for humanity. It not only exerted a great cohesive force on the formation and development of the Chinese nation but also holds significant practical meaning today in helping people correctly understand their national history, receiving patriotic education, cultivating moral sentiments, improving the cultural quality of the entire nation, and promoting the prosperity of socialist culture. These are the cultural essence of our Yellow River descendants, shaping the national spirit of the Chinese nation. To inherit our excellent cultural heritage and ensure the historical legacy of our ancient civilization is well-preserved and flourishing, we have launched the "Chinese Traditional Culture Classics Library" series. This series adheres to the principle of innovating while carrying forward tradition. It selects 20 renowned classics from the histories, philosophies, treatises, and collections of our nation's past, publishing them in the form of modern translations of ancient texts. We first focus on selecting immortal historical masterpieces from the fields of ancient philosophy, history, geography, literature, and science that are of typical significance in our country, while also including famous selected collections passed down through generations. Considering the need for popularization and the target audience, each classic, except for a few that are fully translated, is presented in a selected translation format, where key excerpts are translated and annotated. The translations strive for accuracy and fluency, alleviating readers from the difficulties of facing complex and profound ancient texts, making it suitable for the fast-paced modern era. This allows readers to directly engage with the essence of ancient Chinese culture, learn, and apply it simultaneously. It aims to make the elderly, middle-aged, and young people all willing to read and able to understand, deriving benefits from it. Additionally, this series is published in a full-color, (text-and-image) format, allowing readers to enjoy famous landscape paintings while reading the text, creating a sense of tranquility and pleasure.
