Features: Reading ability holds a significant position in English skills and is also a key language application skill assessed in most English tests. Therefore, how to better improve reading ability and reading proficiency has become an ongoing topic of reflection and practice for English learners and educators. The new English curriculum standards have also raised updated and higher requirements for reading ability. English teaching in China has traditionally emphasized the cultivation of students' reading skills. However, due to the traditional English classroom teaching overburdening itself with the teaching tasks of vocabulary, grammar, and other language fundamentals, both teachers and students spend a large amount of time and energy on the delivery, mastery, review, and practice of knowledge points. This series is written by experienced English teaching experts from abroad, specifically for English learners in Asian countries. The book series features carefully selected materials, a wide range of genres and themes, authentic language, scientifically designed exercises, and moderate difficulty levels. Compared to many other English reading training books I have seen, its quality is outstanding. It is believed to be highly beneficial as a supplementary tool for English reading instruction in primary and secondary schools in China.
