Features: Western-style food is a general term for European and American dishes in China and other Eastern countries. Strictly speaking, it mainly refers to the cuisine of Western Europe and North America, although it also includes the distinctive flavors of other countries. In English, it is usually expressed as: Western-style Food. However, in the minds of Westerners, there is no clear concept of Western-style food. Just as when Chinese people mention Chinese food, they inevitably think of familiar regional cuisines such as Sichuan, Shandong, Canton, and Jiangsu, we typically categorize Western-style food based on the dietary characteristics and local customs of different countries, such as French cuisine, Italian cuisine, British cuisine, German cuisine, Russian cuisine, and American cuisine. When discussing Western-style food, people often naturally think of French haute cuisine, just as the American writer Hemingway said, French cuisine is a gem in Western culinary arts.
