Features: The annual interior design competition organized by the China Institute of Architecture Interior Design Branch has successfully been held for 8 editions. The submitted works this year first draw attention to the presence of many new young designers, especially those from remote areas, participating in the competition, reflecting the rapid growth and improving standards of young designers in China. In the past two decades, China's interior design industry has developed rapidly, with numerous outstanding high-level design works created by top talents. The overall improvement of over 200,000 designers across the country is of utmost importance. Only with a large number of high-level designers and well-established design firms can society's needs be met, and the quality of living environments in China be fully enhanced. This is something we hope for among the majority of young designers in the design community. We hope that this young platform of the competition can play a role in showcasing and nurturing outstanding young designers. We also warmly welcome young designers to utilize this platform to display their talents and styles, to learn from and inspire each other, and to rapidly improve their design skills.
