Features: The papers in this collection are all related to ethnic traditional music, but they do not provide a systematic overview of the classification of China's ethnic traditional music. Most of them were written due to work requirements and addressed individual issues, so there is no inherent connection between them. For each issue, it is not always a comprehensive discussion, but rather offers personal opinions on certain aspects of the topic. Strictly speaking, it is merely some discussions on certain aspects of ethnic traditional music. Perhaps it can provide some reference for everyone researching this topic. Traditional music not only includes music from various ethnic groups but also encompasses different forms of music that emerged in different periods and economic foundations. Each genre of music has its own development history, and each region has its own unique tonal characteristics. Although the stories may be largely the same, many of these issues require specialized works for a more systematic discussion. In the paper "Chinese Music," I briefly summarized the general situation of several main genres, which is obviously brief, but it shows the general outline of development. Only folk songs, in addition to providing a relatively comprehensive overview of their overall picture, have also written several short articles on specific issues, and have made brief comparative discussions on folk songs from individual regions.
