Features: A rubbing of the ancient-style grass script poems by the Eastern Jin Dynasty poet and litterateur Tao Yuanming. It is hailed as a rare and precious ink treasure. His calligraphic style is no less accomplished than that of the "Two Wangs" of the same period. However, the introduction to Tao Yuanming's calligraphy remains a blank until now. To promote the essence of national culture and widely absorb the spirit of outstanding traditional culture, our publishing house has meticulously restored and reprinted the extremely valuable "Authentic Grass Script of Master Tao Jingjie" published by the China Book Company in the Republican era, based on the collector's donation. After a brand-new binding, it is solemnly launched in a large 16-page format, allowing this rare ancient ink treasure of China to shine once again! The entire book features twelve grass-style poems composed by Tao Yuanming himself, titled "Imitating Ancient Poems," which are healthy in content, powerful in ink, profound in craftsmanship, and lofty in. Additionally, the book includes seven highly valuable inscriptions and seals by renowned figures of later generations, such as Yuan Ang, Shen Yue, Wu Zetian, Di Renjie, Wang Shipeng, Guo Yuanzhen, and Zhang Xiaocheng. Especially noteworthy is Wu Zetian's inscription: [Knowing that the Eastern Jin Dynasty's style was universally admired, all praised Tao Yuanming as a peer to Tao Qian, yet few understood that his brushwork was serene and elegant, like the orchids in deep valleys, self-magnificent yet untouched by the world. Truly, it is a treasure to be cherished and will endure for eternity.] This inscription reflects the high praise and deep admiration Wu Zetian held for Tao Yuanming's art.
