Features: Under the setting sun, the castle stands where we gaze silently at the distant mountains. At this moment, the wind gently blows in, stirring warm nostalgia in our hearts. Page after page is turned, page after page is caressed—it is the eternal love spell in our eyes. We have been running all day, allowing our souls no moment of rest. We have forgotten the distant mountains, the white clouds, the green trees, and the spirit of being forgotten in the world. Until one day: it snows, and we have nowhere to seek. By the red fireplace, we occasionally find those once-dream-inspiring pages that have now turned slightly yellow, realizing that we can never escape the contemplation of lyrical poems that bring our souls peace and leisure!
Love is one of the most sincere and beautiful emotions of humanity, and also an eternal theme in literature. In the grand garden of poetry, the flower of love blooms exceptionally brilliantly. Here, in this garden of vibrant hues, we have plucked nearly a hundred poems by renowned Western literary masters to share with you. During the translation process, the translators have strived to preserve the original poetic essence and emotion of the poems while maintaining their unique charm. When form, rhythm, and content conflict, it is essential to flexibly adapt and seek new forms to capture the spirit of the original poem. Otherwise, even if the melody and rhyme are carefully attended to, the poem may sound stiff and unnatural, failing not only to remain faithful to the original but also losing its liveliness and charm.
