Economic Law (Second Edition)

Author: Li Zhenghua
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2005-05-01
Features: Compared to traditional criminal law and civil law, economic law is a relatively new discipline in the field of law, with a very short history of development. Due to the objective existence of "market failures," appropriate state intervention in economic activities has become an inevitable historical trend in market economies. For a long time, the term "economic law" has been widely used among the general public in China, but many mistakenly believe that the combination of economic activities and law gives rise to economic law, or that all issues in market economies can be categorized under the domain of economic law. How to enable students to correctly understand economic law and even apply relevant economic legal systems to solve problems has always been a goal we strive for in teaching. This textbook is written for students majoring in law at higher vocational education institutions and can also serve as teaching materials or reference books for various types of vocational training. During the writing process, the author has taken into account the characteristics of higher vocational education and adult education, aiming to avoid dry and tedious theoretical deductions. Therefore, in the writing process, we have incorporated the latest legislative dynamics in China, focused on the trends in government economic management, and added relevant case analyses or data to make the content of the textbook more accessible and practical. At the same time, we have also included the latest research findings in domestic and international economic law to keep up with the pace of theoretical development. Due to the limitations of the author's knowledge and perspective, there may inevitably be omissions and errors in the book. We sincerely welcome readers to offer constructive criticism. Please share the strengths of this textbook with others and inform the author of its shortcomings.
