Features: This book strives to connect its research with the current situation in China, where the most challenging and difficult areas in practice are the improvement of the governance structure of listed companies. Regarding corporate governance, both domestically and internationally, there has been a substantial amount of literature that has studied it, theoretically explaining the importance of corporate governance and proposing several suggestions for corporate governance in China. Unlike existing literature, this book approaches the study of financial governance of listed companies in China from the perspective of financial management. Although financial governance and financial management differ by only one character, their research objects and content are entirely different. Financial governance primarily studies the relationships among creditors, shareholders, and managers, while financial management mainly focuses on the raising, application, and allocation of funds. The two belong to entirely different categories. The understanding of financial management has deeply rooted in both the academic and practical communities. However, the study of financial governance has not received the attention it deserves, let alone in-depth research. This book takes financial governance as its main thread, utilizing the rich data of listed companies in China to analyze the financial governance issues faced by Chinese listed companies. It conducts an in-depth study of the theory, models, and mechanisms of financial governance for listed companies in China.
