Features: To provide a rich collection of calligraphic couplets and illustrations for researchers, creators, and enthusiasts of couplets calligraphy both domestically and internationally, we spent over two years selecting 500 outstanding works from the history of couplets calligraphy to compile and publish this series, "The Classics of Chinese Couplets Calligraphy." This series is organized into five volumes, each dedicated to a different script style: Seal Script, Clerical Script, Regular Script, Running Script, and Cursive Script. Each volume contains 100 works, titled "Seal Script Hundred Couplets," "Clerical Script Hundred Couplets," "Regular Script Hundred Couplets," "Running Script Hundred Couplets," and "Cursive Script Hundred Couplets."
The couplets calligraphy works included in this series are selected with consideration for both the literary readability of the text and the diversity of the calligraphic art forms. Most of the works are masterpieces from the Ming and Qing dynasties, while some works by modern and contemporary calligraphers are also included, along with selected pieces by elderly calligraphers of this era. The aim is to systematically and comprehensively compile and present the finest couplets calligraphy works from ancient and modern masters, offering readers a valuable reference.
