1. Fables are a popular literary form enjoyed by people. In their brief length, they hide interesting plots and contain profound lessons. They are the epitome and crystallization of human wisdom. In writing, fables primarily use exaggeration, often highlighting a specific trait of a certain group of people with vivid and exaggerated descriptions, making the theme of the fable more prominent. Under the strong stimulation that shakes people out of their complacency, they provide deep inspiration and thought.
2. Fairy tales are fantastical stories woven from artistic concepts that align with children's imagination. Excellent fairy tales feature bold fantasies, strong exaggeration, vivid plots, and healthy, enriching, and diverse content, filled with romanticism. They have always been loved by young children and serve as good teaching materials for teachers and parents to impart moral and aesthetic education.
3. Myths originally reflected the ancient people's primitive understanding of the origin of the world, natural phenomena, and social phenomena, and were expressed through supernatural figures and fantastical forms. In myths, the world of gods is often a copy of the human world. In the illusory realm of heaven, the relationships between gods, between gods and demons, and between gods and immortals are merely projections of human social relationships in the world.
4. Popular science stories can be categorized into science essays, scientific fairy tales, scientific stories, and science fiction novels. Science essays or popular science articles are science knowledge readers written in prose form. Scientific fairy tales, also known as knowledge fairy tales, convey scientific knowledge to children in the form of fairy tales. Scientific stories teach various scientific knowledge through short stories. Science fiction novels describe how humans will struggle with nature in the future, serving as a literary style that looks ahead to the future of science. They portray some technological achievements that may be realized in the future as if they have already been achieved.
This book is a spiritual feast for primary school students and a valuable resource for teachers and parents to guide students and children in reading. May the young friends among the students grow up healthily nurtured by the nourishment of this book!
