Publish Date: 2005-05-01
Features: Liu Yong's works are beloved by readers for their natural fluidity, sincere touch, conciseness, and depth. However, there are numerous versions of his works on the mainland. Our goal is to carve out a unique path among these versions and uncover the profound of Liu Yong's works that are not fully understood by many. As Liu Yong himself has said, he dislikes drawing rigid conclusions and merely guides people. His works are doors open to every reader, with the boundless scenery, delightful charm, and hidden truths waiting to be discovered by each visitor. After filtering out the trivial and selecting the essence, we have found a door—a door leading to success, wisdom, and the heart. We have named it "Motivation."
This second series of "Liu Yong's Motivational Masterpieces" consists of six books: Growing Without Fear, Nothing Is Beyond Communication, Meet the World on the Road, A Lifeline to Success and Growth, Love Settles, and A Sky Above Everyone's Head. The selections are all articles written by the author in a simple, accessible, genuine, and practical style. They include insights that enlighten the mind, dialogues filled with Zen-like wisdom, humor that brings a smile, and flashes of ingenuity. But more importantly, they are a series of exquisite, mind-opening stories. In truth, whether adults or children, our dry and exhausted souls need the nourishment of love and wisdom. We are accustomed to hearing too many maxims, shouting too many slogans, and witnessing too much hypocrisy. What we truly need are small stories drawn from daily life, along with the experiences and reflections they reveal. They are vivid, easy to understand, lively, yet abstract, serious, and rigid. A drop of water can hold the ocean, reflecting the vast world; the small can reveal the great, refracting the myriad aspects of life. They are truly a medium that enters our blood and energizes our lives. Therefore, we cherish these small stories, small principles, small scenes, and small jokes. Because behind them lie great wisdom, great life, great vision, and great success.
