Features: The ancient town of Shuhe in Qingquan is nestled at the foot of the sacred Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and is one of the earliest settlements of the Naxi people in Lijiang. In Naxi language, Shuhe is called "Shao Wu," named after its backdrop of Juba Mountain, which resembles piled-up treasures. Thus, Shuhe is also known as "the village beneath the high mountains."
The ancient Shuhe has walked through the long history, weathered the storms of time, and left behind layers of dust and stories passed down through generations. Whether it's the mythical legends of "Sanduo" or the heart-wrenching tales of "suicide in love"; whether it's the romantic escapades along the tea-horse road or the legendary stories of promoting education and learning; these legends and tales are the culture formed by Shuhe in the course of history. History has become the past, and culture has become the legacy of history.
The river of history will continue to flow, the forms of society will continue to evolve, the essence of culture will continue to expand, and Shuhe will continue to develop.
