Features: This textbook (Second Edition) primarily selects vocabulary based on the "Outline for Chinese Language Proficiency Vocabulary and Character Grades" released by the National Office for Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, focusing on Level D words. It also includes some frequently used Level C words that are easily confused, as well as some common terms. While maintaining the basic structure and main content of the previous edition of Advanced Spoken Chinese (Part 2), the new edition has undergone the following local additions and deletions: To better align with teaching organization and stage tests, the original 16 lessons divided into four units have been reduced to 12 lessons with three units. A total of 5 lessons have been removed, and 1 new lesson has been added. 11 lessons have been retained, with modifications and supplements made to the main texts, language points and exercises, and supplementary texts. In response to the needs of advanced-level students, the content of vocabulary learning has been expanded, with additional vocabulary exercises related to the main texts. To facilitate better understanding of the main texts, language practice has been added to the main text exercises as a summary and extension of the lesson content. Additionally, Exercise 3 of the main text has been revised to involve answering questions using specified words. Illustrations have been added to each lesson to replace the original photographs. This textbook is accompanied by a CD, published by Peking University Audiovisual Press. Considering the diverse needs of advanced-level students at this stage, as an important basis for teaching organization, the textbook must cover a broad range of content and include various exercise formats to provide as much flexibility as possible for both teachers and students. Each lesson in this textbook contains substantial content, requiring longer study hours. Therefore, in actual teaching practice, users should flexibly adapt based on specific circumstances and needs.
