Publishing Date: 2004-09-01
Features: The main purpose of this book is to help farmers and grassroots cadres understand and master the laws and regulations related to agricultural production and operation through simple and easy-to-understand language. The book is divided into eleven chapters, covering topics such as: agricultural production and operation systems, agricultural product circulation, agricultural production funds, the production, purchase, and use of seeds, agricultural water use, the purchase and use of agricultural machinery, agricultural science and technology and application, pesticides, feed and feed additives, returning farmland to forest, and agricultural product quality and safety. Each chapter combines relevant laws and regulations concerning farmers' rights to introduce how to operate legally and protect their legal rights. Additionally, it addresses typical questions of concern to farmers in the form of case studies and Q&A. The information presented in this book is based on currently effective laws and regulations. Due to objective constraints, this book cannot solve all the issues farmers face in protecting their rights during production and operation. Moreover, new regulations introduced in the future may conflict with the content of this book, in which case the then-current effective regulations should be followed. Farmers and grassroots cadres should pay attention to the progress of national legal system construction, promptly understand and master the laws and regulations related to "the three rural issues" (agriculture, rural areas, and farmers), and resolve various problems encountered in agricultural production and operation in accordance with the law.
