Fragment: Moving in dazzling waves of heat. He Wen Tang walked from the school, his feet as if stepping on red-hot iron. Suddenly, he saw a rat with white smoke coming out of the school. Then another, and another. These rats squeaked and scattered everywhere, some already on fire. He Wen Yong entered the school and found that doors, windows, trees, flowers, and everything was on fire. The entire campus was engulfed in a scorching yellow-green flame. A tall man walked towards him, his eyes narrowed as he stared at He Wen Yong and asked, "Are you He Wen Yong?" He Wen Yong looked at him. The man asked again, "Are you the head of the academic affairs office at Garden Middle School?" He Wen Yong nodded blankly. But before he could say "Yes," the man's palm flew across with a rushing sound of wind. He Wen Yong heard a slap on his face and was knocked around for half a circle. Before he could steady himself, several more men and women noisy from all sides surrounded him, shouting loudly, "How can you be the head of the academic affairs office? This year, Garden Middle School's college entrance exam pass rate is zero. How will you explain this to the parents of the students?!"
