Publishing Date: 2000-01-01
Features: The purpose of this series of facsimile reproductions is to provide martial arts enthusiasts from all walks of life with materials for appreciation, study, and reference, aiming to promote the national martial arts, preserve the essence of traditional culture, and ensure that future learners do not lose the authentic transmission. The original books were published during the Republic of China period, with authors being descendants of various martial arts schools. They adhered to the meticulous techniques left behind by their predecessors, fearing that they might be lost over time. Therefore, they compiled decades of insights from their martial arts practice and shared them with the world. The series is rich in content, with sound principles, simple language, detailed explanations, and accompanied by action illustrations, making it an excellent resource for learners. Some parts of the original books have been annotated, which are not entirely accurate and may be the result of the collectors' notes. Due to the deep ink, it is difficult to restore them to their original state, and some of these annotations still hold reference value, so they have been retained for now. There are also some individual characters that are suspected to be errors, and they have been preserved in their original form out of respect for authenticity. We have not dared to make immediate changes. We have only made some modifications to some obvious errors and ink spots on the pages.
