Features: This book primarily studies social morphology. According to Durkheim's definition, it is the study of various social material forms, treating social facts as "things" for analysis. Social morphology is divided into narrow and broad categories. Broad social morphology is divided into religious, political, and economic morphology; narrow social morphology, i.e., demography, further studies population from both spatial environments and the natural movement of population. Social morphology, like sociology, is first established on collective representations. We observe these material forms with the aim of finding elements of collective psychology through them. Since society is located within the material world, collective thought finds a principle of regularity and stability in the representations of its spatial environment, just as individual thought needs to understand the collective and spatial to maintain balance.
