Features: Guangyun and Jiyun were compiled during the Northern Song Dynasty and are classic texts for studying the history of the Chinese language, Chinese phonology, Chinese dialects, and compiling Chinese lexicographical works. They hold a significant academic position in the field of linguistics, have been a long-term research topic for Chinese and foreign scholars throughout history, and have a broad influence in both domestic and international academic circles. The arrangement features of Guangjiyunpu are that all rhyme heads and syllables are rearranged according to a certain order of initials, finals, and tones, ensuring that each syllable is placed in its correct position, eliminating the arbitrariness of the syllable arrangement in Guangyun and Jiyun. At the same time, initials and fǎnqiè are consistently arranged in bold font before each syllable, making it easy to understand and find. Specifically, the arrangement method is as follows:
1. First, arrange according to the order of the sixteen rhyme groups: Guo, Jia, Xie, Zhi, Xiao, Liu, Xian, Shen, Shan, Zhen, Tang, Jiang, Zeng, Geng, Tong.
2. Within the same rhyme group, list open-class rhymes first, followed by close-class rhymes.
3. For open-class rhymes within the same rhyme group, arrange according to tone levels (first, second, third, and fourth), and the same applies to close-class rhymes. Tone levels are determined by the rhyme, not the initial.
4. Then, arrange according to the four tones (ping, shang, qu, ru).
5. For syllables under the same rhyme head, arrange according to the order of initials.
