Features: For the judicial examination, a good guidebook can make your preparation twice as effective with half the effort. The solid foundation of this book lies in its deep understanding of the exam requirements and a sincere attitude toward candidates. The goal of this book is to help candidates review more effectively—comprehensively mastering key points while saving time and ensuring firm memory. The book has the following features:
1. Organized around the syllabus and referencing textbooks, it comprehensively covers all key points. If based on the designated textbooks, a diligent candidate can review more than 90% of the points on the exam paper. Therefore, this book organizes and extracts key points following the syllabus to cover them as comprehensively as possible. The content is concise, directly targeting key points, with enhanced elaboration and analysis for those requiring deeper understanding. Additionally, the book does not advocate overemphasizing the distinction between major and minor points. Especially from the 2004 exam, it was evident that knowledge not considered a priority or even a key point frequently appeared in questions. Overly focusing on certain areas could lead to mistakes. It is particularly important to note that this book includes a newly added section, covering all new content from the 2005 judicial exam guidebooks to facilitate candidate use.
2. The content structure is logically sound, with clear and concise layers, and employs various textual highlighting techniques for easy memorization and high readability. The biggest issue in review is memorizing knowledge but finding it insufficiently solid or accurate during the exam—meaning the general idea is remembered, but not the "key point." Simply reading textbooks for review is inefficient and time-consuming, as finding the few tens of thousands of key points among millions of words is a low-effective and time-consuming approach. Based on candidates' note-taking habits and optimal memory theories, this book adopts a logical outline structure, using different font effects, symbols, and annotations to highlight the "key points" embedded in sentences and paragraphs. This makes the content clear, concise, and lively, eliminating monotony and enhancing the connection and prominence of memory.
3. Tailored to the characteristics of different legal departments, this book uses charts, summaries, and comparisons to highlight key points, deepen memory, and improve review efficiency. Comparisons exist not only between legal departments but also within each department. For example, in the Company Law, we can use a table to include the main knowledge points of limited liability companies, joint-stock companies, state-owned enterprises, and Sino-foreign joint ventures for comparative memorization. Similarly, in the Criminal Law, with over 200 crimes, each can be organized into a table under categories like "subject," "subjective aspect," "objective aspect," "punishment application," and "key reminders," making it easy to memorize and proven highly effective. For instance, in the Legal History section, we can summarize and memorize recurring terms. In appendices at the end of certain legal departments, comparisons across departments are used to clarify easily confused knowledge points. There are countless examples—readers are encouraged to explore the book for a deeper understanding.
Regarding the use of this book, the following suggestions are provided: If you have already taken the judicial exam or have a certain review foundation, you can use this book directly. If you lack a legal background, it is recommended to use it in conjunction with the designated textbooks. This book is suitable for candidates at both early review stages and exam preparation phases, especially for those with limited review time, as it can significantly enhance efficiency.
