This work holds profound and far-reaching significance. The content of the medical discourses includes internal medicine, gynecology, surgery, pediatrics, prescriptions, and acupuncture. Anything that can be expressed in the form of medical discourses is eligible for writing. The Five Medical Discourses adopt the style of reflective essays; the collected articles are mostly characterized by being brief yet profound, rich in content, making new academic contributions, and possessing strong practical value. The purpose of this book is to compile the essence of the clinical experiences, academic theories, and research achievements of TCM practitioners in the Yangtze River Basin in modern times, to conduct a concise and historical summary and exchange, and to showcase a historical snapshot of the prosperity of TCM academic achievements in this region.
