Features: The Kangxi Dictionary is a renowned dictionary that includes over 47,000 characters. The entire book is divided into twelve volumes, each named after one of the twelve Earthly Branches (Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, etc.). Each volume is further subdivided into three parts: upper, middle, and lower. At the beginning of the book, there is an index for difficult-to-distinguish characters by radical and a section for differentiating characters with similar strokes but different pronunciations and meanings. At the end of the book, there is a Supplement that includes obscure characters with both sound and meaning, or variant forms of certain characters in the main text. The Appendix contains characters with sound but no meaning, or characters with neither sound nor meaning.
