Features: Reading these works is like listening to a wise person sharing their thoughts. It may not delve into any profound mysteries, but it is filled with wisdom about survival and life, intellectual reflections, and philosophical insights. It explores the value of life and the meaning of existence, rooted in reality while delving deep into culture and life. Though the name may seem small, the scope is vast—it can help readers gain a deeper understanding of life and self-awareness, and enjoy the joy of transcendent insights. — Wang Chongliu (Renowned essayist, member of the presidium of the China Writers' Association, recipient of the Lu Xun Literature Prize)
I am quite fortunate. My 58 rings of age grow larger with each passing year, my 38 years of work experience lengthen annually, and my 16 positions improve progressively. I am also privileged to be one of the 100 authors and writers signed by Reader magazine and the nation. Rather than repeating insignificant achievements and honors to the readers, I prefer to share my insights on life: Perhaps we cannot move mountains, but we can manage ourselves; perhaps we cannot control the weather, but we can adjust our mood; perhaps we cannot choose our appearance, but we can show a smile; perhaps we cannot command others, but we can lead ourselves; perhaps we cannot predict the future, but we can develop the present; perhaps we cannot have everything we want, but we can strive in everything we do; perhaps we cannot control the beginning and end of life, but we can determine its value. Objective reality will change because of us; the world will become more wonderful because of us. By mastering our mindset, we also master our paradise.
I particularly love these three sentences: "When impoverished, cultivate oneself; when prosperous, benefit all." "Judge right and wrong by oneself; let praise and blame come from others; take gains and losses calmly; attribute success and failure to zero." "Live with an ascetic spirit, but act with a worldly one."
