Features: This dictionary includes over 2,600 phrases. During the compilation process, we referred to a large number of authoritative dictionaries, reference books, textbooks, as well as newspapers and magazines, striving to gather a wide range of sources. We aim not only to provide readers with vivid and authentic English sentences but also to ensure the content is up-to-date. We believe that it is precisely because this dictionary is fresh and innovative that it will be more practical. In terms of the scope of entries and target users, we adhere to the principle of flexibility, avoiding rigid theoretical distinctions and focusing on common usage; we also do not discriminate based on age or profession, focusing on those who frequently encounter English. Considering certain characteristics of Chinese learners of English, we have made the following arrangements in the compilation:
1. The definitions of entries are provided in Chinese, aiming for brevity and precision;
2. For entries with multiple definitions, we select the most commonly used ones, each accompanied by one to two example sentences;
3. The example sentences are carefully chosen to be illustrative and representative, with translations striving for accuracy and fluency.
