Features: Amidst the nationwide enthusiasm for physical fitness campaigns, Tai Chi has attracted the attention of millions with its unique health benefits and remarkable fitness effects. The public has a strong desire to learn Tai Chi, further fueling the popular trend of the sport. To provide the public with scientific fitness methods and approaches, we have organized experts to create the Eight-Form Tai Chi and the Sixteen-Form Tai Chi, tailored to meet the diverse needs of people at different skill levels. After two years of teaching trials, the feedback has been generally positive, and these sets of Tai Chi are now officially promulgated. These two sets of Tai Chi are also the basic routines for the preliminary evaluation of the Chinese Wushu Danwei System: the Eight-Form Tai Chi is the routine for the first dan evaluation, while the Sixteen-Form Tai Chi is for the second dan evaluation. We sincerely hope that all Tai Chi enthusiasts, while pursuing physical health and strength, will continuously improve their technical skills to ultimately achieve dual success in fitness and martial arts practice.
