Features: The "100 Chinese Buildings" series aims to systematically introduce modern architectural works built in China, enabling both domestic and international audiences to gain a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of modern Chinese architectural creation as it gradually enters the world. It also seeks to explore the collective efforts of Chinese architects engaged in creative work. The works collected in this series are expected to concentrate and fully reflect how architects of different generations in China—both young and old—have overcome temporary weaknesses in architectural technology and conceptual skills amidst the wave of urbanization and the fierce competition of globalization. They have demonstrated the profound cultural depth and inclusive spirit of Chinese culture, maintaining a clear mind and vigorous creativity to continuously produce original architectural works. These efforts represent steps taken in the process of localizing foreign architectural culture and internationalizing Chinese architectural culture. It is believed that a certain number of collaborative architectural works between Chinese and foreign architects will also be included in this series. This can be seen as an inevitable process of localizing foreign architectural culture and internationalizing Chinese architectural culture. With correct analysis and selection, we can continuously enrich and improve ourselves through learning and competition, ultimately achieving progress and transcendence.
